Wild Women's: Creative Exploration

Our immersive extension of the classic Wild Women’s Retreat dives deeper into creativity, blending nature connection, movement, and ancient stories with hands-on creative practices. For centuries, women have gathered for collective healing through creation, and this retreat continues that tradition. Through workshops in clay, natural dyeing, foraging, art therapy, and movement, participants will reconnect with the wild, instinctual aspects of womanhood. By working with our hands, we attune to the land, our animal bodies, and our imaginations, fostering a profound creative and personal journey.

Date: 2-8 June 2025

*Our women-only retreats are inclusive of FLINTA individuals (women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender people).

ABOUT THE RETREAT

Moving beyond new age spirituality and distant traditions, this retreat invites you to collaboratively explore European fairytales and mythic archetypes. By getting our hands dirty with clay and natural materials, we connect with our roots and engage deeply with the land. This immersion in nature fuels our awe and curiosity, guiding us away from mainstream systems of domination. Additionally, we’ll dive into our imaginations and creativity through movement, dance, and performance, celebrating the wild and instinctual aspects of being a woman together.

“Was not the earth the true healer?
A night’s sleep deep in the forrest.
A quiet day in the company of birds. River water. Bitter herbs. This was the slow medicine that healed us from the soles of our feet upwards.” – Sophie Strand
