Journey of Creativity

Join us for Journey of Creativity, where creative practices, nature connection, movement, and ancient stories come together in a practical, hands-on retreat. Women have long gathered for collective healing through creation. Through workshops in clay, natural dyeing, foraging, art therapy, and movement, participants will reconnect with ancient myths, their bodies and the land that surrounds them. By using our hands, we become more attentive to the lands we inhabit, our animal bodies, and our imaginations.

Date: 2-8 June 2025

ABOUT THE RETREAT

Moving beyond new age spirituality and distant traditions, this retreat invites you to explore European fairytales and mythic archetypes. By getting our hands dirty with clay and natural materials, we recognise our entanglement with the world, nature, and other beings. This immersion in the natural world feeds our awe and curiosity, encouraging exploration of how nature can guide us beyond mainstream systems of domination.  We will also be exploring our imagination and creativity with movement, dance and performance.

“Was not the earth the true healer?
A night’s sleep deep in the forrest.
A quiet day in the company of birds. River water. Bitter herbs. This was the slow medicine that healed us from the soles of our feet upwards.” – Sophie Strand
